Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed a knack for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came third in the 200 meters in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then went to the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. The first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in her various races at the Olympics which took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
