Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born on December 2 in 1968) is an American actress and model, well-known for her role in daytime television, episodic guest appearances as well as made-for TV films. Sofer was given a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap drama General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful between 2013 and 2022.
Childhood and early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) who is a psychologist and Martin Sofer, who is a Orthodox Rabbi.
In 1970, she relocated in 1970 to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and her father. However, when Sofer was just five years old, they lived in Western Pennsylvania. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was rabbi of Temple Beth El. She attended North Bergen High School, and then went to Montclair State College.
Career
Daytime television
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's first role in General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as a manager for an ensemble. She was first seen as Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
